What it is
A 5-day hands-on youth program for ages 10+ where students build confidence, creativity, teamwork, and communication skills through balloon artistry, beginner face painting, and fun group activities.

About the Program
The Jestin Time Youth Leadership & Community Program is designed to help students grow through creativity, hands-on learning, and positive group interaction. Students will learn beginner balloon artistry, simple face painting basics, communication skills, and how to work together while building confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
This program is not about being perfect. It is about trying something new, learning how to create, and discovering how much fun it can be to bring joy to others.

What Students Will Learn
Balloon Artistry Basics
Students will learn beginner balloon designs such as dogs, swords, flowers, hearts, bunnies, and more.
Face Painting Basics
Students will practice simple, safe, beginner-friendly designs using water-based face paint.
Leadership & Teamwork
Students will practice helping others, taking turns, encouraging classmates, and participating respectfully.
Communication & Confidence
Students will learn how to speak clearly, interact kindly, and present what they create.
Creativity & Problem Solving
Students will be encouraged to create, experiment, and use their imagination.
What Each Student Receives
Each registered student receives a starter kit that includes:
- 100 balloons
- 1 hand pump
- 1 clown nose
- 1 water-based face paint kit
- 1 set of brushes
- Certificate of completion (If program is completed)
5-Day Program Schedule
Day 1: Balloon Basics & Confidence
Students learn safety, basic twisting, and beginner balloon designs.
Day 2: Creativity & Practice
Students build speed, confidence, and learn additional balloon creations.
Day 3: Teamwork & Interaction
Students practice communication, sharing, helping others, and presenting their creations.
Day 4: Face Painting Basics
Students learn simple designs, safe materials, and beginner techniques.
Day 5: Showcase & Celebration
Students review what they learned, share creations, and receive their certificate of completion.
Daily 2-Hour Structure
Welcome & Warm-Up: 10 minutes
Skill Lesson: 20 minutes
Movement or Game Break: 10 minutes
Creative Practice: 20 minutes
Break: 10 minutes
Leadership Activity: 20 minutes
Creative Challenge: 20 minutes
Showcase & Wrap-Up: 10 minutes
Program Goals
By the end of the program, students should feel more confident trying new things, working with others, speaking up, and creating something they can be proud of.

Parent Information
This is a hands-on creative program. Students should wear comfortable clothing that can handle light mess from washable face paint or art materials. Parents should disclose any allergies, latex sensitivities, skin sensitivities, or medical concerns before the program begins.

Adults Are Welcome Too
This program is youth-friendly, but the same foundations can help adults who want to learn balloon artistry, build confidence, start a creative side income, or become part of the Jestin Time Team.
